2.8–12mm Motorised Varifocal Lens

The integrated 2.8 to 12mm motorised varifocal lens gives installers greater flexibility when positioning the camera. The wide-angle setting is suitable for monitoring larger areas, while the telephoto end provides a narrower field of view for more focused surveillance.

The lens offers a horizontal viewing angle of approximately 114.5° to 41.8°, making it suitable for entrances, building exteriors, commercial premises, parking areas, warehouses and other areas requiring adjustable coverage.

Excellent Low-Light Surveillance

The iDS-2CD7546G0/S-IZHS(Y) is designed to deliver high-quality images in difficult lighting conditions. Hikvision’s DarkFighter technology helps the camera perform in low-light environments, while IR illumination provides black-and-white night vision when visible light is insufficient.

The published specifications list minimum illumination down to 0.0005 Lux in colour and 0.0001 Lux in black and white, with 0 Lux possible using IR illumination.

140 dB Wide Dynamic Range

Strong sunlight, bright entrances and deep shadows can make it difficult for conventional security cameras to capture usable footage. The camera’s 140 dB WDR technology helps balance extremely bright and dark areas within the same scene, producing clearer images in challenging backlit conditions.

Outdoor-Ready Dome Design

Built for demanding outdoor applications, this Hikvision outdoor dome camera features IP67 protection against dust and water and IK10 vandal resistance. This makes it a strong choice for exposed installations where the camera may be subjected to rain, dust or physical impact.

H.265+ Video Compression

Efficient H.265+ compression helps reduce video bandwidth and storage requirements compared with conventional compression technologies while maintaining high-quality surveillance footage. This can be particularly beneficial for installations that continuously record video.
