Hikvision DS-KABD8003-RS3 2nd Gen Door Shroud to suit DS-KD-ACW3

Protective Shield for Modular Intercom Systems

The DS-KABD8003-RS3 is designed specifically for use with a three-module surface mounting configuration. By adding a protective shield to the installation, the accessory helps provide additional coverage around the intercom unit.

This makes it suitable for entrance areas where the intercom system may be exposed to weather conditions, accidental contact, or other environmental factors.

Designed for Three-Module Surface Mounting

The door shroud is intended to suit the DS-KD-ACW3 surface mounting setup. Its three-module configuration allows compatible Hikvision modular intercom components to be arranged neatly within the installation.

The design helps installers maintain a clean appearance while providing additional protection for the mounted modules.

Suitable for Hikvision Modular Intercoms

The DS-KABD8003-RS3 forms part of Hikvision’s modular intercom accessory range. It can be used as part of an entrance station installation where multiple intercom modules are required.

This provides greater flexibility when creating a customised door communication system for residential or commercial properties.

Added Protection at the Entrance

An entrance intercom is often installed in an exposed or frequently used location. The protective shroud helps provide an additional layer of physical coverage around the modular door station.

Practical Installation Design

The accessory is designed to complement the compatible surface mounting arrangement rather than replacing the main intercom modules. This allows installers to build the system using the required components while adding protective coverage around the finished installation.

The shroud also contributes to a more complete and professional appearance at the entrance.

Clean and Professional Appearance

A well-designed intercom installation should provide both reliable functionality and a neat appearance. The DS-KABD8003-RS3 helps complete the look of a three-module surface-mounted Hikvision intercom installation.

Ideal for Residential and Commercial Entrances

This protective door shroud can be considered for a variety of entrance applications where Hikvision modular intercom equipment is being installed. It is suitable for projects such as houses, apartments, offices, commercial buildings, and other controlled-entry locations.
