Hikvision Thermal & Optical Camera
The Hikvision DS-2TD1217-6/V1 HeatPro is a professional thermal and optical network turret camera designed for perimeter protection, fire detection and temperature monitoring. It combines thermal imaging with a high-quality optical camera to provide additional visibility in situations where conventional surveillance cameras may not provide enough information. The previous DS-2TD1217-6/PA model has been discontinued, with the DS-2TD1217-6/V1 serving as the replacement model.
160 × 120 Thermal Imaging
The thermal module uses a high-sensitivity vanadium oxide uncooled focal plane array with a 160 × 120 resolution. With NETD of less than 40 mK at 25°C, the camera can detect differences in thermal radiation and provide useful heat-based imaging. The 6.2mm thermal focal length provides a 25° × 18.7° field of view.
4MP Optical Imaging
Alongside the thermal sensor, the camera features a 4MP progressive scan CMOS optical module. This visible-light channel provides additional scene detail and can work with the thermal channel to give operators a clearer understanding of detected events. The camera also supports 120dB WDR for challenging lighting conditions.
Smart Perimeter Protection
The DS-2TD1217-6/V1 supports intelligent perimeter protection functions including line crossing, intrusion detection and region entrance or exit detection. These functions can help security teams identify activity around restricted areas and respond to events more quickly.
Temperature Measurement and Fire Detection
The camera provides temperature measurement functions with point, area and line measurement rules. It supports temperature monitoring from -20°C to 150°C and includes a temperature-anomaly alarm function. Its dynamic fire detection capability can detect up to 10 fire points, making it suitable for applications where early identification of abnormal heat or fire is important.
Thermal Image Processing
Advanced thermal image processing features such as Adaptive AGC, DDE and 3D DNR help improve thermal image presentation. Bi-spectrum image fusion and picture-in-picture functions also allow operators to combine information from the thermal and optical channels for better situational awareness.
Strobe Light and Audio Alarm
The camera includes visual and audio alarm functions. Its white light can be used as a visual alarm, while the audio alarm supports multiple alarm sounds. These features can provide an immediate warning when a configured security or temperature event occurs.
Reliable Outdoor Protection
The camera is designed for outdoor use with IP66 protection and lightning, surge and voltage transient protection. It supports operation from -40°C to 65°C, making it suitable for a range of demanding outdoor surveillance applications.
