Hikvision 16MP Panoramic DS-2CD6944G1-IHS/UY Turret Camera with 180° Stitched View, 2.8mm Fixed Lens, IR 20m

Hikvision 16MP Panoramic Turret Camera

The Hikvision DS-2CD6944G1-IHS/UY is a high-resolution 16MP panoramic turret camera designed for wide-area security monitoring. With its 180° stitched panoramic view, this camera can cover a large viewing area from a single installation position, helping reduce blind spots and the need for multiple cameras in suitable locations.

16MP Panoramic Surveillance

The 16MP panoramic imaging system provides detailed video across a wide scene. This makes the camera suitable for locations where security teams need to monitor large areas while maintaining useful image detail. It can be used in commercial buildings, warehouses, retail environments, entrances and other open spaces.

180° Stitched View

One of the key features of the DS-2CD6944G1-IHS/UY is its 180° panoramic stitched view. Multiple imaging sensors work together to create a broad panoramic scene. This allows users to monitor a wider section of an area from one camera position and can help minimise coverage gaps.

2.8mm Fixed Lens

The 2.8mm fixed lens is designed for wide-area viewing. It is well suited to open spaces, corridors, entrances, foyers and other areas where a broad field of view is more important than long-distance zoom.

20m Infrared Night Vision

For low-light and night-time monitoring, the camera provides an IR range of up to 20 metres. This helps maintain surveillance when natural lighting is limited, making it useful for security monitoring throughout the day and night.

Practical Wide-Area Security

The turret-style design provides a practical option for ceiling or wall installation. Its panoramic coverage makes the camera suitable for warehouses, car parks, school corridors, retail stores, commercial entrances, foyers and other shared areas where wide scene coverage is required.

Why Choose the Hikvision DS-2CD6944G1-IHS/UY?

The Hikvision DS-2CD6944G1-IHS/UY combines high-resolution imaging with panoramic coverage in a single camera. Its 180° stitched view is particularly useful for areas where a standard single-lens camera may leave parts of the scene outside its viewing angle. With 16MP resolution, a wide 2.8mm lens and 20m IR capability, it provides a practical surveillance solution for monitoring large shared spaces and important access areas.
