The Dahua DHI-ART-ARC3800H-03-FW2 Wireless Alarm Kit is designed to provide flexible intrusion protection for residential and small commercial properties. It combines a wireless alarm hub with essential detection and control accessories, creating a practical foundation for a connected security alarm system.

The system supports up to 150 wireless peripherals, including up to six wireless sirens and 64 keyfobs. This gives you plenty of room to expand the alarm installation as security requirements increase. Additional compatible sensors, sirens, keyfobs and other peripherals can be added where required.

Flexible Network Connectivity

The alarm hub supports Ethernet, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity, including GSM, WCDMA and LTE networks. Dual SIM installation is supported, with one SIM active at a time and automatic switching between available network connections.

This provides greater flexibility for properties that need more than one communication option. A compatible SIM and active service plan are required for cellular functions.

Long-Range Wireless Communication

The system operates on the 433.1–434.6MHz frequency range and uses two-way wireless communication with frequency hopping. The hub and PIR detector can communicate up to 1,200 metres in open-space conditions. The door detector provides up to 1,000 metres, while the keyfob reaches up to 500 metres under the same conditions.

Actual wireless range can vary depending on walls, building materials, interference and installation conditions.

Smart Alarm Management

The Dahua DMSS mobile app allows users to manage the alarm system remotely and receive configured security notifications. The system also supports scheduled arming and disarming through the app or keyfob.

For additional alarm communication, the hub supports SMS and phone-call alerts for up to five configured phone numbers. Video linkage is also supported for compatible security devices.

Security and System Monitoring

The alarm platform uses AES128 encryption, two-way communication and frequency hopping to help maintain secure and stable wireless connections. Users can monitor supported peripheral information, including signal strength, battery status, temperature and program version.

The system also provides tamper alarms and low-battery notifications for supported devices. Automatic network replenishment and offline caching help maintain system event information during temporary communication interruptions.

PIR and Door Detection

The included PIR detector uses a dual-element low-noise sensor with 12m detection coverage across 90° when installed at approximately 2.2 metres. It offers three sensitivity levels and pet immunity for animals up to 18kg.

The wireless door detector uses a reed switch and is designed for suitable non-metal doors. It supports a movement distance of less than 40mm.

Backup Power and Updates

A built-in lithium battery provides up to 12 hours of standby operation under the specified conditions. Cloud updates are supported, helping simplify system maintenance and firmware management.
